Airtight is a macOS speech-to-text application built on one principle: your voice never leaves your machine. This policy explains what data exists, where it lives, and what we do (and don't do) with it.

1. Data That Stays on Your Mac

All audio processing and transcription happens locally on your Mac using on-device models. No audio, transcription text, or personal data is ever transmitted to any external server by Airtight.

The following data is stored locally on your device:

• Audio recordings (WAV files in ~/Library/Application Support/Airtight/)
• Transcription history (JSON files in the same directory)
• Application preferences and settings
• Custom vocabulary entries
• AI refinement model cache

You can delete any or all of this data at any time from the app settings. Uninstalling Airtight removes everything.

2. Data We Collect via This Website

This marketing website may collect standard analytics data to understand how visitors find and use the site. This may include:

• Pages visited and time spent
• Referral source
• Browser and device type
• Approximate geographic region

Website analytics are separate from the Airtight desktop application. The app itself makes zero network requests.

3. Third-Party Services

Gumroad processes payments for Pro license purchases. When you buy Airtight Pro, Gumroad collects your payment information (email, billing details) under their own privacy policy. We receive your email and purchase confirmation but never see your full payment details.

Airtight does not integrate with any other third-party services, ad networks, or data brokers.

4. No Account Required

Airtight does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the application. Airtight works immediately after purchase with no registration.

5. Children's Privacy

Airtight is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app processes everything locally and requires no account, no personal data is collected from any user regardless of age.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
