Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Airtight, a macOS speech-to-text application published by Cavalier Ventures LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using Airtight you agree to these Terms.

1. License Grant

We grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Airtight on any Mac you own or control. A one-time $29 purchase via Gumroad unlocks full access. The license is tied to your Gumroad purchase receipt.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell Airtight or its license keys
• Use Airtight for any purpose that violates applicable law
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the software

3. Payment Terms

Pro licenses are sold as a one-time purchase through Gumroad. All prices are in USD. Gumroad handles payment processing, tax collection, and receipt delivery under their own terms.

4. Refund Policy

Pro purchases include a 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. To request a refund, contact us at contact@cavalier-ventures.com with your Gumroad receipt.

5. Intellectual Property

Airtight, its logo, design, and code are the property of Cavalier Ventures LLC. Your transcriptions and audio recordings belong entirely to you — we claim no rights to any content you create with Airtight.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Airtight is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality, hardware, and model selection. We do not guarantee error-free output.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cavalier Ventures LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of Airtight. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software.

8. Termination

You may stop using Airtight at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate your Pro license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use Pro features ceases, but your locally stored data remains yours.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Airtight after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the website.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
